15 Minutes

This was my first attempt at rotoscoping. I started by taking a video of myself. I then edited the video so it would be 12 fps, and exported each frame into its own image. I used those images as references when I digitally drew each frame in illustrator. After my frames were all drawn, I went used Adobe Premiere and After Effects to put together all my drawn files from Illustrator and finalized my video. When making this rotoscope I was going through a hard time because of losing a high school friend. My friend's death was something that could have been prevented when I was making this rotoscope, I used it to help me get through the pain and other of his death. The audio is all my voice. (Even the sirens.) My rotoscope cannot be understood entirely because of my personal connection I created with it, but my goal was to create a feeling of what I felt trapped inside myself.
